Ethereum core devs will spin up a “shadow network” to prevent delaying research into the Pectra hard fork, after a mishap on the Holesky testnet last month.This network could be spun up by next week, though it may not satisfy everyone’s research requirements — leading to the question of whether to eventually deprecate it or Holesky.Pectra, Ethereum’s much-anticipated upgrade, will include a number of changes for Ethereum’s execution and consensus layers that are important to test.
