According to Foresight News, the latest report from Google Cloud indicates that North Korean hackers disguised as IT professionals are intensifying their cyber attacks on European blockchain projects. Projects built on the Solana network, including applications and recruitment, are increasingly under attack. North Korean agents impersonate legitimate remote workers, infiltrate companies, take over critical systems, and steal sensitive data, which may be sold to 'generate revenue for the regime'. The increase in European threats indicates that the focus is no longer on the United States, as North Korean related entities face pressure from prosecution by the US Department of Justice and stricter recruitment reviews domestically. The report shows that one such worker used 12 false identities in the United States and Europe to find work by forging recommendation letters, building rapport with job seekers, and using other identities they controlled to prove their credibility. More projects related to blockchain involve the development of Anchor and Rust smart contracts. An employee even developed an artificial intelligence (AI) web application using Electron, Next.exe, and blockchain applications.
