Lee Bok-hyun, Chairman of South Korea's Financial Services Commission, stated during the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee review on October 20 that the legislative proposal for the 'Virtual Asset User Protection Act (Phase Two),' which includes a stablecoin regulatory framework, has entered the final coordination stage. It is expected to be submitted to Parliament for review by the end of this year, while preparations for implementation details are also underway.
