The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Michigan has indicted 39-year-old Russian operator Mykhalio Petrovich Chudnovets on charges of conspiracy to commit money laundering, alleging that he used E-Note since 2010 to facilitate the transfer of criminal proceeds. The platform has reportedly processed over $70 million in illicit funds since 2017. Law enforcement agencies have seized related servers and domain names, and if convicted, the suspect faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
