ETH falls below the $2400 mark

In the seven days leading up to November 5th, Circle issued approximately 12.7 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 13.5 billion USDC, resulting in a decrease of approximately 800 million tokens in circulation. The total circulating supply of USDC is 69.2 billion, with reserves of approximately $70.5 billion. This includes approximately $36.6 billion in overnight reverse repurchase agreements, approximately $23.3 billion in Treasury bonds with maturities of less than 3 months, approximately $9.9 billion in systemically important institution deposits, and approximately $800 million in other bank deposits.

In response to community users' claims that Musk criticized Binance for holding 80% of the crypto market share and hindering industry development, CZ stated that the content was false information and urged the poster to stop spreading misinformation. CZ also posted verification screenshots showing that Musk had not made any such statements, nor had he urged users to transfer their funds. Musk responded to CZ, confirming that he never released any related content and that the information was fabricated.

Binance co-founder He Yi responded to user concerns about asset loss due to duplicate UIDs, stating that Binance user UIDs are unique and there is no possibility of duplicate UIDs. The user in question mistakenly entered their UID directly when transferring funds from Binance's main site to Binance Thailand, without verifying the information during the secondary confirmation process. Following the incident, He Yi and four employees assisted in freezing the relevant funds and are currently contacting the recipients to negotiate. He Yi reminded users that local fiat currency trading platforms such as Binance Turkey, Binance Thailand, and Binance US have independent account systems, and addresses and UIDs must be verified when transferring or withdrawing funds.

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao forwarded a security warning on the X platform, urging users to update their Windows systems to fix a high-risk vulnerability in Microsoft Paint, and stating that the application cannot protect users from operating system vulnerabilities. Microsoft has disclosed a vulnerability in Microsoft Paint, identified as CVE-2026-83844, with a CVSS score of 8.1. This vulnerability affects versions of Microsoft Paint earlier than 11.2605.91.0. The vulnerability involves out-of-bounds reads, allowing unauthenticated attackers to remotely execute malicious code. Microsoft has released a security patch, but there are currently no confirmed reports of the vulnerability being actively exploited.
