The user in question mistakenly entered their UID directly when transferring funds from Binance's main site to Binance Thailand, without verifying the information during the secondary confirmation process. Following the incident, He Yi and four employees assisted in freezing the relevant funds and are currently contacting the recipients to negotiate. He Yi reminded users that local fiat currency trading platforms such as Binance Turkey, Binance Thailand, and Binance US have independent account systems, and addresses and UIDs must be verified when transferring or withdrawing funds.
