[BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Single-Day Trading Volume Hits Record High of $8 Billion]
On November 21, the trading volume of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs surged significantly. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded a single-day trading volume of $8 billion, marking a new high since its inception. On the same day, the total trading volume of Bitcoin ETFs across the market rose to a historic peak of $11.5 billion. Bitcoin's price stabilized near $84,000 after retreating more than 30% from its peak, driving the surge in trading activity. Despite the active trading, IBIT saw a net outflow of approximately $122 million on the day. ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted that this reflects a "massive liquidity rotation." Currently, Bitcoin has fallen about 24% in November, down roughly one-third from its all-time high of approximately $126,000 earlier this year.
