The Ethereum Foundation announced that it will shift its focus to user experience and L1 expansion in the near future

Sta ń czak stated that this change aims to give Ethereum co-founder Vitalik more time for research and exploration, rather than dealing with daily affairs and crisis management. Sta ń czak stated that the Ethereum Foundation will shift most of its research towards "near-term" goals, including addressing user experience and scaling challenges in upcoming protocol upgrades. The Ethereum Foundation will focus on layer one extensions, support for layer two extensions, and user experience improvements, such as interoperability in Pectra, Fusaka, and Glamsterdam upgrades.
