Coinbase Markets announced that Coinbase Exchange will undergo a scheduled technical system upgrade starting at 7:00 AM Pacific Time on October 25, 2025 (10:00 PM Beijing Time on October 25). During this period, all trading services will be suspended, including Coinbase.com (Simple Trade and Advanced Trade), Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase Prime. Additionally, transfer services on the exchange will also be suspended, and transfers in progress may experience delays.
The maintenance will be carried out in two phases, with a total estimated duration of up to 4 hours. The first phase involves the technical system upgrade, expected to take 2 hours. The second phase involves the restart of the trading system, also expected to take 2 hours, though it may be extended depending on market conditions. Some trades may be briefly paused before the maintenance begins, with specific timing subject to actual circumstances.
