[Zerohash Obtains EU MiCA License, Expands Crypto Services in Europe] Stablecoin company Zerohash's European subsidiary announced that it has obtained a license under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework from the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). This move enables Zerohash to provide stablecoin and other crypto asset services to banking institutions, fintech companies, and payment platforms across 30 countries within the European Economic Area (EEA). The AFM's official registry shows that Zerohash is registered as a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP), supporting tokenized assets, stablecoins, and blockchain-based financial products. Earlier reports indicated that Mastercard plans to acquire Zerohash for up to $2 billion.
