[Performance of the Three Major U.S. Stock Indexes at Close]
The major U.S. stock indexes showed mixed performance at the close of the latest trading session. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 0.46%, the S&P 500 Index edged up 0.17%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.47%.
On the individual stock front, Amazon's stock price rose approximately 4%, hitting a record high; Tesla and Nvidia both gained over 2%, and Google's increase was close to 1%. On the other hand, Intel, Netflix, and Meta saw their stock prices drop by more than 1%, while Microsoft and Apple experienced slight declines.
