[Jito Proposal JIP-31 Suggests Redirecting Protocol Revenue to BAM Validators and Launching Subsidy Program] Jito has published the JIP-31 proposal on the forum, suggesting that 100% of protocol revenue be redirected to validators running BAM and suspending the current 100% buyback program executed by CSD. BAM is regarded as a key technology for the development of the Solana network, aiming to drive the realization of internet capital markets. The proposal includes an early adopter subsidy program for BAM, distributing rewards based on staking weight through JitoSOL to incentivize validators to adopt BAM. The subsidy program will launch on January 12, 2024, and run until Q3 2026, initially using all protocol revenue to support subsidies, which will then gradually decrease to zero. Jito pointed out that the program is designed to accelerate BAM adoption, but if adoption rates fall below expectations, it may lead to reduced efficiency in DAO fund utilization.
