According to Bitcoin.com, Tether has filed a lawsuit with the Sao Paulo court in Brazil, demanding Titan Holding to repay a $300 million default loan. The loan was issued by Tether Investments in March 2025 with a term of 12 months, originally scheduled to mature on March 28, 2026, but has not been repaid. Tether requests the court to freeze the bank accounts, financial investments, and other assets of defendants such as Titan and Master Holding, and clarify that the loan does not involve reserves supporting USDT issuance, but is part of its loan portfolio. Titan Holding belongs to the Master Group, and its owner Daniel Vorcaro was arrested on Thursday.
