According to the "Skynet North Korea Encryption Threat Report" released by CertiK, since 2016, North Korean hacker groups have stolen approximately $6.75 billion in digital assets. It is expected that the theft losses will reach 2.06 billion US dollars by 2025, accounting for 60% of the total annual losses in the global cryptocurrency industry, including the Bybit theft case of 1.5 billion US dollars. As of early 2026, the loss accounted for approximately 55%. The report points out that the North Korean hacker attack mode has been upgraded to a national level system that combines social engineering, supply chain attacks, and "physical infiltration". CertiK suggests that encryption institutions strengthen their "zero trust" recruitment model, supply chain security, and full lifecycle defense measures such as fund tracking.

The Stellar Development Foundation and the Bermuda government announced that Bermuda will promote the construction of a "fully on chain national economy" through the Stellar network, reducing payment processing costs. Residents can use digital wallets to receive wages, pay fees, and hold digital assets. The government will pilot stablecoin payments, and financial institutions can access tokenization tools. Jewel Bank is developing the US dollar stablecoin JUSD, which is planned to be supported by 1:1 cash and US bond reserves. The goal is to launch it in May 2026, and introduce a real-time settlement system and enterprise white label banking and stablecoin services. Genius Group will enter the regulated digital banking and stablecoin issuance field.
