Aptos announced that the Korean Won stablecoin KRW1 is about to be deployed on the Aptos network. KRW1 is issued by BDACS Korea, marking its first deployment of a stablecoin on a non-EVM blockchain. Aptos stated that KRW1 will support use cases such as payments, cross-border remittances, and RWA tokenization.
