Polymarket applies to list sports event cross-border contracts in the United States

According to CoinDesk, Polymarket has submitted self certification documents to the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to apply for the launch of sports event cross-border contracts in the United States. This product is a combination of multiple basic sports event contracts, which will only be settled at $1 when all sub event results are valid, otherwise it will be reset to zero. The document shows that the listing date is no earlier than May 21, 2026. Polymarket also requires CFTC to maintain confidentiality of exhibits involving trade secrets.
