According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung Securities has passed a board resolution to acquire 2% of Dunamu's shares for 306.3 billion Korean won (approximately 204 million US dollars), totaling approximately 697000 shares at a price of approximately 439000 Korean won per share. The sellers include institutions such as Kakao Investment and Kakao Ventures. This transaction is estimated to have a total valuation of approximately 15.3 trillion Korean won (approximately 10.2 billion US dollars) for Dunamu. Samsung Securities stated that this investment aims to enhance the competitiveness of its digital asset business and expand synergies. Hanhua Investment Securities previously acquired Dunamu shares held by Kakao Investment at the same valuation.
