Argentine bill proposes to include encrypted services in anti gambling regulation
According to CriptoNoticias, the Argentine government has submitted a bill to Congress to include virtual asset service providers in anti gambling regulation. The bill requires banks, fintech companies, cryptocurrency exchanges, and wallet providers not to provide services or trading convenience for unlicensed gambling platforms. Violators will face 2 to 4 years in prison. The exchange needs to strengthen due diligence, transaction monitoring, and KYC policies. The Argentine Central Bank, National Securities Commission and other institutions will collaborate to block technology access and capital flows.
