[Zcash Foundation Releases Zebra 4.5.1 to Fix Vulnerability] According to an announcement by the Zcash Foundation, the Zcash Foundation has released Zebra 4.5.1 to address a critical consensus security vulnerability, and node operators are advised to upgrade immediately. The previously released version 4.5.0 did not fully resolve GHSA-gf9r-m956-97qx, as the Sigop counting issue in P2SH could still lead to consensus discrepancies. Zebra 4.5.1 completes the fix by restoring and correcting the Rust implementation. Upgrading is currently the only way to ensure nodes remain on the correct chain.
