Previously, the CFTC approved Bitcoin perpetual futures last Friday. The CFTC stated that, apart from Bitcoin, perpetual futures products proposed for listing by U.S. companies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, noting that the design of such derivatives may not be suitable for all asset classes. Therefore, the batch of products submitted by Kalshi has not yet been approved.
