Vitalik Buterin: Synthetic stablecoins should abandon dollar anchoring

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin discusses the idea of a synthetic stablecoin, stating that the US dollar is not the best anchor. He proposed to generate user specific stabilization tools through personalized consumption indices and market forecasting, in order to achieve a decentralized stablecoin model that does not require fiat currency support.
