Global payment networks Stripe, Visa, and Mastercard are close to launching a new stablecoin platform. According to informed sources, the US cryptocurrency exchange Binance is studying the possibility of participation. Coinbase, Stripe, and Visa declined to comment, and Mastercard did not respond to requests for comment. In addition, Coinbase's revenue sharing agreement with Circle Internet will expire and renew in August this year, with a current USDC market value of $76 billion. (CoinDesk)
