JPMorgan Chase: Strategy needs to rebuild US dollar reserves to restore confidence

--

According to The Block, JPMorgan analysts suggest that Strategy may need to rebuild its US dollar reserves to alleviate market concerns about future Bitcoin sales. The recent sale of 32 bitcoins by Strategy has caused a market shock, as the current US dollar reserves can only cover about 6.3 months of dividend payments. The company holds 843706 bitcoins with an average cost of $75699, resulting in a book loss of approximately $11.5 billion at current prices. If the purchasing speed from the beginning of the year to the present is maintained, the Bitcoin purchase volume may reach about 32 billion US dollars in 2026. Analysts predict that the probability of the encryption bill passing this year is less than 50%.
