According to Axios, US President Trump is dissatisfied with Iran's failure to respond to the proposed agreement in the past two weeks and requested a revision of the US Iran memorandum of understanding after a White House Situation Room meeting on May 29th. The new requirements include Iran diluting enriched uranium within 60 days and committing not to impose tolls on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, in exchange for the US agreeing to retain nuclear materials in Iran and accept supervision by the International Atomic Energy Agency. At present, with the mediation of Qatar, the United States and Iran are still in indirect contact.
