According to GeekWire, Prometheus, an AI startup co founded by Jeff Bezos, has raised $12 billion in Series B funding with a valuation of $41 billion. Investors include JPMorgan Chase, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, DST Global, and Arch Venture Partners. Prometheus is committed to building general artificial intelligence engineers who use AI tools to accelerate the physical product development process. Prometheus co CEO Vik Bajaj stated that in the past few years, he has been able to transform complex problems from design to manufacturing into end-to-end AI problems. Jeff Bezos revealed that Prometheus may acquire some manufacturing companies that can benefit from its technology and help improve its production processes.
