Nvidia promotes Vera CPU to Chinese customers, some cloud vendors plan to test deployment

--

According to Reuters, Nvidia has started promoting its first independent CPU product, Vera, to Chinese customers, which is built on the Arm Holdings architecture. A large Chinese cloud computing company plans to purchase over 300 servers equipped with dual Vera CPUs for testing. Nvidia claims that Vera's performance in AI agent computing tasks is 1.8 times that of its competitors' similar products, and expects the product to contribute approximately $20 billion in revenue by the end of this fiscal year. Vera puts Nvidia in competition with Intel and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Some Chinese customers plan to deploy Vera chips for testing in overseas data centers first.
