Traders place bullish bets on the US dollar worth $27.8 billion, reaching a new high in over a year

According to data released by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), as of June 9th, hedge funds, asset management companies, and other speculators have accumulated $27.8 billion in bullish dollar bets, the highest level since February 2025.
