[Binance Responds to Rumors About Greek License Application, Says No Formal Objection Received from Regulators Yet]
According to Reuters, in response to rumors that Binance's application for a Greek EU license will be rejected, a Binance spokesperson stated that the company has been in communication with regulators over the past 18 months, has submitted the application through the complete process, and believes it meets the requirements of the EU MiCA framework. Furthermore, they are aware that the regulators have completed their review. However, as of now, the Greek regulators have not formally expressed any objections. The Hellenic Capital Market Commission stated that due to confidentiality rules, it cannot comment on Binance's license application.
