According to The Wall Street Journal, the U.S. will allow Iran to immediately resume oil and fuel export sales, granting exemptions for related services such as banking, transportation, and insurance. The United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) organization stated that a supertanker loaded with Iranian crude oil has departed from Chabahar Port and exited the Gulf of Oman. A senior U.S. official said on Tuesday that the sanctions exemptions granted to Iran depend on its compliance, and Iran will not immediately gain access to its frozen overseas funds.
