Ministry of Commerce: Starting from June 20th, an additional 55% tariff will be imposed on imported beef from Australia

The Ministry of Commerce has released a notice on the implementation of beef security measures for 2026. Beef imported from Australia will reach 100% of the prescribed quantity on June 18, 2026. Starting from midnight on June 20, imported beef from the country will be subject to an additional 55% tariff on top of the current applicable tariff rate.
