Iran's Supreme National Security Council announces free passage fees in the Strait of Hormuz for 60 days
According to Xinhua News Agency, Iran's Supreme National Security Council has stated that, according to the Iran US Memorandum of Understanding, commercial ships applying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz within the next 60 days will be exempt from relevant fees, which will be borne by the Iranian government. Merchant ships must submit applications to the Persian Gulf Strait Authority of Iran and pass through the Strait of Hormuz according to designated routes and specified times.
