The Thai Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with multiple departments, inspected 14 locations in five provinces including Ubon, Asotong, Anakhang, Liyi, and Mahasarakan, confiscating 315 digital currency mining equipment. The suspects tampered with electricity meters and illegally connected power, resulting in a total loss of 40.38 million baht (approximately 1.227 million US dollars), including 5.38 million baht in fines for electricity violations and approximately 35 million baht in unpaid electricity bills. The authorities have filed lawsuits against the suspects.
