Ben Goertzel advocates building a decentralized AGI system through blockchain technology

AGI Association President Ben Goertzel stated that general artificial intelligence should not be controlled by venture capital or a few tech companies, and advocates building a decentralized AGI system through blockchain networks to replace closed models such as OpenAI and Anthropic. Ben Goertzel is advancing this plan through SingularityNET and the Artificial Super Intelligence Alliance, aiming to enable AI capabilities to be shared by users worldwide. Ben Goertzel proposed the concept of "AI proxy economy", expecting AGI to emerge between 2027 and 2030, and plans to release the first AI proxy product Omega Claw.
