MEV bot jaredfromsubway got hacked, resulting in $7.7M worth of assets being drained. This is a highly cautionary tale for all developers running automated strategies: the attacker exploited a vulnerability to instantly drain all the bot's liquidity, including 1,583.5 ETH, 2.87M USDC, and 2.09M USDT. The asset transfer path is currently very clear: 1. The attacker has converted all the funds into 4,427 ETH (around $7.7M). 2. Out of that, 1,000 ETH has already been sent to Tornado Cash for mixing and laundering. In the high-frequency and highly competitive MEV space, contract permission management and asset isolation are the lifelines. Any logical vulnerability can instantly lead to millions of dollars evaporating.
