Kleros founder proposes Ethereum validator revenue redirection mechanism
Kleros founder Cl é ment Lesaege has released a proposal on EthResear.ch, suggesting the introduction of a validator revenue redirection mechanism at the protocol layer to use a portion of the pledged revenue to fund Ethereum ecosystem public goods. If more than 51% of validators agree, the redirection ratio will be effective for all validators between 0% and 10%. The verifier can choose the funding target and proportion, and the execution client aggregates the results through the King of the Hill or Condorcet winner mechanism. The proposal points out the potential risks of validators forming groups and entrusting agents, which are currently under discussion.
