Ripple receives preliminary approval for Luxembourg's cryptocurrency service provider license
Ripple has received preliminary approval for its cryptocurrency service provider license from the Luxembourg Financial Supervisory Authority, aimed at advancing Ripple's payment business and MiCA compliance process in the European Economic Area. This preliminary approval will take effect once the final conditions are met. Combining Ripple's existing electronic currency institution license, European financial institutions can access Ripple's encrypted assets and stablecoin payment infrastructure through a single integration.
