Strategy's stock price falls below $100 for the first time since March 2024

Solana's on chain silver tokenization project Dominion announced the cessation of operations. The security attack in September resulted in a large number of SILVs being stolen and sold, causing liquidity collapse, loss of operating funds, and damage to market structure. Dominion has used most of the remaining working capital for refunds to pre hacker holders, and eligible participants can withdraw at a rate of $63 per SILV. The team believes that the funds needed to rebuild liquidity and maintain operations exceed the remaining resources.

Dominion has invested most of the remaining working capital into a refund plan, allowing eligible pre attack SILV holders to withdraw at a rate of $63 per coin. On September 11th, the attacker controlled 3/5 multi signature keys and sold approximately 46909 SILVs to the less liquid DEX, with a nominal value of approximately $3 million before the attack, ultimately cashing out approximately $238000.

According to data from South Korean financial regulatory agencies, from May 27th to August 14th, individual investors in South Korea lost approximately 2.3 trillion Korean won, or about 1.7 billion US dollars, in a single leveraged ETF. The regulatory authorities have restricted trading of leveraged single share products since July, including banning new product listings, increasing minimum cash margin requirements, and requiring investors to receive training.

South Korean retail investors are expected to lose approximately $1.7 billion between May 27th and August 14th by tracking the single stock leveraged ETF and note products of Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Since July, South Korean regulatory authorities have taken measures such as temporarily banning the listing of new leveraged single share products, increasing minimum cash margin requirements, and strengthening investor training to curb related product risks.
