US Central Command launches strike on Iran in response to merchant ship attack

On June 26th, the US Central Command launched a strike against Iran in response to Iran's use of one-way attack drones to attack the Ever Lovely cargo ship on June 25th. US fighter jets struck Iran's missile and drone storage facilities, as well as coastal radar stations. The US Central Command forces will continue to provide coordination and support for safe passage of merchant ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
