According to data from the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), as of June 29th, the European Union has issued 244 MiCA licenses, with Germany leading with 57 and France ranking second with 26. Greece, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, and Romania have not yet issued MiCA licenses, and Poland has not established a cryptocurrency exchange licensing system. Germany, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Ireland hold approximately 72% of the financial assets of the European Union. France issued 5 licenses between June 18th and 22nd, accounting for nearly half of the total 11 licenses in the European Union during the same period.
