XCN will retain its native Ethereum ERC-20 asset properties, and the XCN contract on Ethereum will continue to serve as the primary asset carrier. In the future, users will be able to bridge XCN on Ethereum to Onyx Layer 1 to participate in staking, applications, and network functionalities. Onyx Protocol stated that the existing infrastructure already supports decentralized applications and institutional-grade financial systems.
