[Venezuela's Largest Refinery Resumes Operations] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 3, three sources stated that Venezuela's largest refinery—Amuay Refinery, with a daily processing capacity of 645,000 barrels—resumed operations on Friday following a power outage. It is currently processing approximately 140,000 barrels of crude oil per day, and the fluid catalytic cracking unit (FCC) has also resumed operations. After two earthquakes last week that caused severe casualties, several refineries in Venezuela were affected by power outages. Another source mentioned that the El Palito Refinery, with a daily processing capacity of 146,000 barrels, has regained power supply, but staff have not yet been able to restart production units.
