[Qalibaf: The U.S. Should Accept Regional Realities and Advocate for Lifting Sanctions] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on July 4, Iranian Parliament Speaker Qalibaf stated during a meeting with a delegation from the Uzbek Parliament that the United States must accept the 'real changes' formed after the conflicts involving Israel, the U.S., and Iran, acknowledging that the regional situation is no longer the same as before. He noted that the current situation has improved compared to the past, and the U.S. has been forced to accept the new regional landscape. Against this backdrop, economic and trade relations among various parties are expected to further expand, with hopes of creating conditions for lifting sanctions in the future. Qalibaf also mentioned that under the framework of Iran and Oman's 'joint management' of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, U.S. 'interference' in the region will decrease, thereby creating more favorable conditions for regional transit and transportation cooperation.
