Samsung Electronics is about to announce its second quarter results, with an expected 18 fold increase in operating profit
According to a report by Jin Shi, storage chip manufacturer Samsung Electronics is set to announce its second quarter results on Tuesday. Analysts predict an average preliminary operating profit of 8.43 trillion Korean won (approximately 6.1 billion US dollars), an increase of 18 times compared to the same period last year, and revenue is expected to grow by 127% to 74 trillion Korean won. Roundhill Financial CEO Dave Mazza stated that Samsung's performance coincides with market doubts about the supply and demand sides of the storage chip investment logic. If the performance is close to market expectations, it will help quell the controversy and benefit Samsung.
