Tether is preparing to issue USDT natively on the Bitcoin network based on the RGB v0.11.1 protocol, with UTEXO responsible for commercial issuance and distribution. UTEXO co-founder Viktor Ihnatiuk stated that the company has received support from Tether and is responsible for promoting the implementation of Bitcoin native USDT. The RGB protocol uses client verification combined with Lightning Network to achieve real-time, low-cost, and private transactions for USDT. In the future, users can directly hold USDT through their native Bitcoin address and use the Lightning Network Wallet that supports RGB to complete transactions. UTEXO is deeply integrated with Tether, allowing users to convert USDT between different public chains through its cross chain bridge.
