Wu Blockchain reports that SlowMist has released the *2026 Mid-Year Blockchain Security and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Report*. The report reveals that in the first half of 2026, there were 182 blockchain security incidents, resulting in losses of approximately $956 million. In comparison, the same period in 2025 saw 121 incidents with losses of around $2.373 billion. By ecosystem, Ethereum recorded losses of about $134 million, BSC around $36.35 million, and Arbitrum approximately $4.93 million. By project type, there were 116 DeFi incidents with losses of about $490 million, and 20 cross-chain bridge incidents with losses of roughly $346 million. Notably, a single incident involving Kelp DAO resulted in losses of approximately $292 million. SlowMist noted that AI scams, supply chain attacks, and vulnerabilities in cross-chain infrastructure are expanding the attack surface, and actual losses could be higher due to unreported incidents and individual user losses not being accounted for. https://(wublock123.com)/news/slowmist-182-blockchain-security-incidents-h1-2026-956m-losses-64139
