Gyeonggi Province, South Korea will launch a stablecoin concept verification project in August this year

Gyeonggi Province, South Korea will launch a stablecoin based PoC project in August this year, exploring its applications in local currencies, public subsidies, and payment systems. The project will focus on verifying programmable payments, zero knowledge proofs, and reserve proof technologies, and plans to enter the second phase of testing from October to December to evaluate fund abuse prevention, privacy protection, business applicability, and user feedback.
