The Trump administration plans to ease export restrictions on the United Arab Emirates, allowing it to purchase advanced AI chips from companies such as NVIDIA, AMD, and Cerebras Systems. The US Department of Commerce stated that the UAE meets the conditions for more relaxed export control treatment and supports the US position in the anti Iran war. This agreement stipulates that Nvidia, AMD, and Cerebras Systems will supply thousands of processors to G42 for use in the newly built AI data center in the United Arab Emirates.
