According to The Hill, Senate Majority Leader John Thune plans to initiate the full Senate review process for the CLARITY Act on the week of July 20th. Major County Sheriff's of America has shifted its stance on developer exemptions to neutrality, and the White House, Treasury Department, and Senator Catherine Cortez Masto are jointly drafting a revised plan. The bill negotiations face disagreements over ethical code provisions, Democratic committee seats in the SEC and CFTC, and loopholes in stablecoin earnings regulation. Trump's financial disclosure of approximately $1.2 billion in cryptocurrency related income last year intensified ethical negotiations.
