[Chainalysis Report: Global On-Chain Taxable Crypto Activities to Reach $457 Billion by 2025]
According to a report by Cointelegraph, Chainalysis estimates that global on-chain taxable crypto activities will reach $457 billion by 2025. Of this, $134.6 billion will involve North America, $125.1 billion the European Union, and $112.6 billion the United States. The data includes mining, staking, lending, and payment flows across six major public blockchains, excluding internal transactions within centralized exchanges. Currently, the OECD's Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) is only capable of tracking 14% of on-chain taxable funds, with the remaining 86% being difficult to regulate and track due to the lack of custodians.
