On July 13th, the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury Department added multiple cryptocurrency addresses to its sanctions list, targeting organizations affiliated with the Cuban regime. The sanctioned addresses involve Tron, Dogecoin, Solana, Dash, Zcash, and Litecoin networks, as well as Bitcoin and Ethereum addresses. The sanctions target entities related to several state-owned enterprises, including the Cuban Revolutionary Warriors Association and the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, and freeze accounts controlled by Ukrainian citizen Dmytro Rashevskyi and Belarusian citizen Yevgeniy Vladimirovich Silayev, accusing them of engaging in virtual tool operations that have caused harm to the United States.
